Dear Brother of Kappa Alpha Psi:

On January 5, 2009, we celebrated another year in Kappa Alpha Psi – 98 years of Achievement. Why is this so significant? It is so significant because it means that we are another year closer to celebrating the fraternity’s centennial anniversary. In July 2011, in Indianapolis, WE (Kappa Alpha Psi) will host the biggest and most significant Grand Chapter meeting in OUR fraternity’s history – 100 years of Achievement.

Given this historic and huge responsibility, the Indianapolis Alumni Chapter has already begun planning how we will host our brothers and their families. In addition, we are preparing how we will be able to financially support this once in a lifetime event. To assure that our brothers leave the 2011 Grand Chapter more excited than ever, the Indianapolis Alumni Chapter has a goal of raising $50,000 to be used solely for the Centennial Anniversary. These funds will be used strictly for the promotion, hospitality, marketing, and operational responsibility of the chapter during (and in preparation for) the 100th Anniversary.

This year, we are implementing our 100-Year Honor Roll assessment. What does this assessment include? It is our goal to have 500 brothers contribute $100 ($1 for each Kappa year) to the campaign over the next two years – the 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 years. You can contribute your assessment in full; or, if you desire, you can contribute your assessment in two payments of $50 per year. Not to be confused with Grand Chapter’s Centennial Campaign Fund, the Indianapolis Alumni Chapter’s primary targets are:

· Brothers in/from the Indianapolis area (financial and non-financial),

· Brothers living within the North Central Province,

All financial members of the Indianapolis Alumni Chapter are automatic participants in the "Honor Roll" as part of your chapter dues. The Indianapolis Alumni Chapter would appreciate everyone’s participation and cooperation. For your full participation in the chapter’s campaign, each 100-Year Honor Roll member will receive one official commemorative Centennial Anniversary pin to cherish for life. Please help the Indianapolis Alumni Chapter make our 100th anniversary one to remember.

To participate, complete the campaign form and send your contribution to:

You can, also, contribute your assessment by going to our website, www.indykappa.com, and selecting the “2011 Honor Roll” button. We look forward to your participation and attendance in 2011. ONE Kappa!
