(Philadelphia, PA) October 2008 - Grand Polemarch Dwayne M. Murray, Esq. has asked the entire membership of the fraternity to support the upcoming Regional Conferences of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. (NPHC). In support of this request, Kappa will be sending members of its National leadership to each of the upcoming conferences. "It is important that Kappa is visible, from a national leadership perspective, at these conferences. Too often we have not supported NPHC in a manner it deserves. The Council of Presidents has agreed that our local chapters should be in full support of NPHC initiatives and I expect Kappa to take a proactive part in making this happen," said Murray. Participants in the conferences include Dr. Donald Parker, Senior Vice Polemarch- Southwestern Province (Southwest Regional); William H. Fields, Polemarch-East Central Province (North Central Regional); J. Corey Locklear, Grand Lieutenant Strategus (Southern Regional); Samuel Knight, Senior Vice Polemarch-Western Province (Western Regional); Howard L. Tutman, III, Eastern Province Board Member and Richard Lee Snow, Executive Director/COO who will serve as the Keynote Speaker (Eastern Regional). A complete list of the conferences is below.

McKinzie, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is the current Chairperson of COP.
