Subject: Election of Grand Chapter Officers
During the 79th Grand Chapter Meeting the delegates in attendance will be electing Officers and Members of the Grand Board of Directors. The governing section for Grand Chapter officer election is outlined in Statute 16 of the 2007 Edition of the Constitution & Statutes.
Offices Elected are:
1. Grand Polemarch
2. Senior Grand Vice Polemarch
3. Junior Grand Vice Polemarch
4. Grand Keeper of Records and Exchequer
5. Three (3) undergraduate members to Grand Board of Directors
6. Three (3) alumni members to Grand Board of Directors
7. Grand Strategus
8. Grand Lieutenant Strategus
9. Chairman, Grand Chapter Nomination Committee
10. Grand Historian
Each candidate for consideration must submit to the Grand Chapter Nomination Committee Chairman thru International Headquarters a completed Grand Chapter Official Nominations Form.
Undergraduate candidates must submit an official and sealed copy of their most recent transcripts indicating at least a 2.3 cumulative grade point average qualifying them as academically eligible.
Candidate for any national office who wishes to have their qualifications of office published in the Confidential Bulletin shall file the application with International Headquarters at least 120 days (April 6, 2009) before the start date of Grand Chapter.
The deadline for submission for all applications will be on August 5, 2009 at 5:00 pm. The Nomination Committee Chairman will be located at the International Headquarters booth for receipt of all applications.
